KAP group therapy offers the added opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar struggles and to gain knowledge and healing in relation. Collective support can be a source of great comfort to those who feel alone in their struggles. Social connection itself is healing and motivational for commitment and change. Additionally, groups offer clients a more affordable path to healing.

  • Addiction

This group is for people who are motivated to stay sober and have struggled with traditional addiction treatment methods. Ketamine therapy has the potential to reduce depressive symptoms, anxiety, dysregulation resulting from traumatic memories, and cravings, while increasing self-awareness and cognitive function. In a safe, supportive environment, clients have an opportunity to share personal struggles with their lives and addiction and work through them together. Although research has shown positive results in KAP treatment for addiction, it should be noted that this therapy is still a relatively new and controversial.

  • Bereaving Partners and Spouses

The Ketamine Group for Bereaving Partners and Spouses provides a compassionate and safe space for individuals who have lost their loved one to connect with others who are experiencing a similar loss. This group offers a unique approach to grief therapy using ketamine-assisted experience and approach. Ketamine has been known to help individuals access deeper states of consciousness which can help to facilitate processing of emotions and experiences related to grief.   While an individual’s understanding of death and transitions is often influenced by their spiritual and personal beliefs, it is not uncommon in a ketamine experience for an individual to a feel a sense of connection with their deceased loved one that helps them in their grieving process.

During group sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore their feelings, reactions and behaviors in a supportive and safe environment with the guidance of understanding clinicians. The use of ketamine can help to increase mindfulness, reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, and enhance personal insights.   The group provides a supportive community that aims to help individuals move forward on a path of healing and growth.

  • BIPOC

Our BIPOC ketamine therapeutic group is a supportive and inclusive space where individuals who identify within the BIPOC community can gather to safely explore their personal concerns and mental health issues, and at the same time feel seen, heard, and affirmed. We understand that if you are black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color you may face unique, difficult to share, challenges including systemic oppression, discrimination, and micro-aggressions daily. Our therapists are trained in culturally responsive care, and we ensure that the therapy environment is inclusive and free from bias.

During preparation, journey, and integration sessions, individuals set intentions that allow for the exploration of the root causes of their mental health concerns.

The ketamine-assisted therapy used in these sessions serves to help individuals relax so they may explore and access difficult emotions, thoughts, and feelings at a deeper level while building a sense of empathy, new insights, and connection with the group. The goal of the group is to promote healing and well-being for all members.

  • Conscious Dying

Conscious Dying is a group that offers support and community to those facing life-threatening diagnoses, terminal illnesses and advanced age. Battling for our physical health often means that our emotional health gets overlooked. The unknown and the ‘not knowing’ can cause intense stress and emotions that range from fear and anger to sadness and angst. That’s when psychedelic medicines, such as Ketamine, can come in to help. These medicines provide an existential way to meet emotional unease, reduce depression and anxiety, and improve spiritual well-being. Through Conscious Dying, you will have access to a community of people who are facing similar challenges and understand the preciousness of every day. Many terminally ill patients who have participated in ketamine therapy have found they no longer fear death and that the ketamine helps them develop a new sense of peace and tranquility and a deeper connection with nature and the universe.

  • Death Doulas

The Ketamine for Death Doulas Group offers a new way to support those who provide end-of-life care. In a supportive and safe environment, death doulas will have the opportunity to explore their personal experiences, challenges and vicarious grief that comes with guiding clients through the ultimate transition. Ketamine is a powerful tool to enhance self-awareness and introspection and to let go of negative energy.  Through this process doulas will develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of their own mortality and build resilience to better support their clients who are facing end-of-life.  Between the ketamine experience and a compassionate, supportive group, participating death doulas will become better equipped to support their clients with empathy, compassion, and a more profound sense of presence.

  • Disordered Eating

This group is for people who struggle with disordered eating and body image and who have not benefitted completely from traditional medication, therapy or addiction support groups. This group provides a safe and supportive environment for group members to explore underlying issues that contribute to their disordered eating behaviors and increase emotional regulation and
clarity. Ketamine therapy has the potential to reduce depressive symptoms, anxiety, as well as cravings that lead to disordered eating symptoms, while increasing self-awareness and improving self-image issues. While the research continues, KAP treatment is thought of as a promising option for disordered eating.

  • Grief and Loss

The Ketamine Grief and Loss Group provides a safe and compassionate space for individuals who are grieving a loss to connect with others who are also experiencing a challenging loss. Grief may be due to loss of a relation (dear friend, family member, pet), life change (loss of employment, physical health) or other life challenges (loss of ideals). This group offers a unique approach to grief therapy using a ketamine-assisted approach. Ketamine has been known to help individuals access deeper states of consciousness which can help to facilitate processing of emotions and experiences related to grief. While an individual’s understanding of loss and transitions is often influenced by their spiritual and personal beliefs, it is not uncommon in a ketamine experience for an individual to a feel a greater sense of connection and purpose.

During group sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a supportive and safe environment with the guidance of understanding clinicians. The use of ketamine can help to increase mindfulness, reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, and enhance personal insights.   The group provides a supportive community that aims to help individuals move forward on a path of healing and growth.

  • Journaling Journeyers

There is a reason why good psychedelic therapists encourage their clients to journal. Journaling is good for your mind and body, even without a ketamine lozenge. Whether you use this valuable tool to develop self-awareness, gain clarity, reduce anxiety, or spark creativity, evidence-based research has shown that journaling consistently improves mental, emotional, and even physical health. In psychedelic therapies, journaling has been found especially useful in helping journalers remember, make sense of, and integrate their psychedelic experiences. By writing down recollections, thoughts, and feelings about their experience, the writers can better reflect and find meaning from their experiences.

The Journaling Journeyers program aims to provide a safe environment for group members to share their personal stories and experiences, fostering a community where connection and healing are observed and celebrated. Journalers will utilize creative writing and self-reflection to process and document their experiences. Through their work, not only will they find or rediscover meaning in their own lives, but also help fellow collective members do the same. This program serves a dual purpose: not only will it help members establish a healthy journaling routine, but it will also maximize the therapeutic benefits of their psychedelic experiences.

  • LGBTQ+ GROUP

Our LGBTQ+ ketamine therapeutic group is a supportive and inclusive space where individuals who identify within the LGBTQ+ community can gather to safely explore their personal concerns and mental health issues. The group provides a non-judgmental environment where members can share their experiences, receive support, and discuss their concerns related to mental health in a confidential setting. The ketamine-assisted therapy used in these sessions serves to help individuals relax and explore their thoughts and feelings at a deeper level, while building a sense of empathy and connection within the group. The goal of the group is to promote healing and well-being for all members.

  • The Creators Salon

If you are a working artist, writer, actor, creative professional, aspiring creator, feeling stuck or blocked in your creative process, or just seeking new inspiration to enhance your craft, the Creators Salon may be a good option.  If you are not familiar with the Salon tradition, it started in 17th-century France, and very quickly spread throughout Europe. It was conceived as a place where artists, writers, philosophers, and scholars come together in homes or other private settings to discuss and share art, poetry, literature, philosophy, and politics.  Salons were considered a vital space for the exchange of ideas and the cultivation of thoughtful, creative pursuits.

In the Creator’s Salon, the Ketamine experience and a safe supportive environment will be used to share ideas, enhance creativity, and promote a heightened sense of artistic expression, while reducing anxiety and stagnation that leads to creative blocks. Guided meditation, visualization, and sound therapy may be used to enhance the journey experience and focus creative energies. Additionally, participants will be encouraged to participate in free-flowing, stream-of-conscious art sessions, philosophical discussions, theatre games, dance, and storytelling exercises, allowing each person’s creativity to flow without inhibition.

With artists, there is often a correlation between their unique and meaningful expression and their overall sense of well-being. Creator’s Salon is here to inspire that self-expression.

  • Therapists and Other Helping Professions

The Helping Professions Group offers a new way to support those who provide mental health, addiction, therapeutic or counseling services. In a supportive and safe environment, those of us in helping professions will have the opportunity to explore our personal experiences and professional challenges with colleagues. Healers need self-care after guiding clients through trauma or other mental health challenges and support for difficulties with transference and countertransference. Ketamine is used as a tool to enhance self-awareness and introspection. Through this process clinicians will develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of their own need for self-care and be better equipped to support their clients. Between the ketamine experience and a compassionate, supportive group, participating clinicians will become better equipped to support their clients with empathy, compassion, and a more profound sense of presence.
