Brian joins Psychedelica Collective following many years of personal growth and introspection in psychotherapy of different forms. After receiving their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute in 2014, Brian relocated to Los Angeles, CA from Brooklyn, NY to begin their professional career.
Hoping to find more meaning and purpose in both their work and life, Brian began to take the steps necessary to craft a career that aligned more closely with their personal sensitivities and worldview. In 2023, Brian completed their Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, specializing in LGBT-Affirmative Psychology to work with individuals from all backgrounds, particularly queer and diverse populations.
Their therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed, incorporating different psychological theories such as systems and attachment theory, while providing clients with somatic, tool-based interventions. Brian’s belief is that true growth begins on a holistic level and seeks to empower clients with the knowledge and understanding that all individuals have an incredible inherent capacity to heal – the real therapeutic work is developing the strength, courage, and vulnerability to hold oneself accountable, to not let the past define the present, and to be willing to approach life from a different perspective.
Brian believes in the power of psychedelic therapy and hopes to help clients help themselves live a life that feels more authentic, aligned, and true to the person they are becoming.
