Ja’ire takes a compassionate and holistic approach to health and healing, focusing on the connection between brain, body, mind, and environment. Her work experience spans across various industries including entertainment, health and wellness, environmental sustainability, and behavioral sciences. Her upbringing was spent facilitating community programs serving underprivileged and disadvantaged communities and volunteering in community based transitional programs for recovering addicts, shelters for abused women and children, and senior living facilities. She is passionate about empowering individuals and couples to create and maintain healthy, intimate relationships with themselves and others. Additionally, she is LGBTQIA+ and BDSM/Kink affirmative and a strong social justice advocate for BIPOC communities.
Her clinical experience includes working with anxiety and depressive disorders, complex trauma, couples, attachment issues, intersectionality and identity, addiction, bipolar disorders, sexual health and dysfunctions, and ADHD. Ja’ire holds a MA in Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles and a BA in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her training at the Antioch University Counseling Center and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Ja’ire’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and integrative incorporating various theoretical techniques stemming from mindfulness, CBT, solution-oriented, narrative, and the psychoanalytic umbrella to support the needs of a diverse clientele. Fostering strength, courage, and authenticity Ja’ire helps clients dig deeper to find clarity and to implement essential tools for change to achieve their goals. It is that same genuine energy that allows audiences worldwide to connect to her powerful onstage presence and inimitable soulful sound as a vocalist and performer.
Ja’ire feels most abundant when her life is full of travel, dance, nature, adventure, song, and quality time with her loved ones.
